Look at your life. Look at your choices.

Sometimes I envy my friends who don't have to worry about school loans, where their next meal is coming from, if they'll over draft in their bank account, or if they've worked enough hours to pay for necessities like transportation and groceries. But then I think to how much this broke college lifestyle has taught me (hustlenomics), and I'm thankful for such a hard experience. I've learned that money is money and you can't let it control your emotions. I was forced to grow up, which was validated when a childhood friend said to me, as we caught up over burritos, "You look much older." Granted, I did age 3 years since we last met face-to-face. But the truth is, I have grown up. I'm a little wiser thanks to my hardships, new friends and well, college. Life would have been much easier if I didn't attend such an expensive university nor worked in the city 3 days a week, while burning miles and gas on a car that guzzles fuel as fast as Charlie Sheen snorts cocaine. But, this is my life and these are my choices so I live with them.
